Brentford will lock horns with the Fulham side at Craven today. Both teams have been inconsistent this season and will want to win this game. Brentford are in 11th place in the Premier League standings and have stepped up on a few occasions this season. The away side defeated Sheffield Wednesday on penalties in the EFL Cup and will be confident ahead of this fixture. Fulham on the other hand is in the 12th place in the table and is yet to hit their stride this season. They were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Everton in their previous game and will look to take it up a notch this week. 

Brentford has a good historical record against Fulham and has won 25 out of the 66 matches between the two teams, as opposed to Fulham's 23 victories. Fulham have won only one of their last nine matches against Brentford in league competitions, with their only such victory coming by a 3-2 scoreline in a Premier League clash in 2022. Fulham have a strong squad at their disposal but are yet to justify their potential in the Premier League this season. The likes of Alex Iwobi and Raul Jimenez can make a difference today, but they will need to step up. Brentford has an impressive record in this fixture but has blown hot and cold this season.
