Two goals inside the opening 18 minutes from Alvaro Morata and Antoine Griezmann put Atletico in control, before a sweet strike from Toni Kroos 10 minutes before the break restored hope for Los Blancos. Atletico were also boosted by the return of Memphis Depay last weekend, with the Dutchman recovering from a muscle problem to feature as a second-half substitute; a start on Thursday seems unlikely, though, considering the impressive performances of both Morata and Griezmann in attack last time out.
