12.How are Goal Rush minutes calculated?

Goal Rush is awarded depending on how close one was to accurately predicting the minute the first goal will be scored and by which team in all the 3 matches. The aim is to score 0 minutes as that would mean one has predicted accurately.

The first minute of a football match is from the first second of kick off until the 60th second. For instance, a goal scored on 37th Minute 28 seconds is considered to be in the 38th minute.

In the event the team you had selected to score first, does score first, minutes are awarded by subtracting the minute the goal was scored from your prediction. For instance, if you predicted the home team will score first at the 37th minute, but then the home team scores first in the 10th minute, 27 minutes will be awarded for that game i.e. 37-10.

If one Goal Rush game ends in a 0-0 draw (no goal scored in the entire match), every customer who had an entry in the Goal Rush will be awarded 90 minutes for that game.

In the event the team you had selected to score first, does not score first but instead the other team precedes to score, 1000 minutes will be awarded to your entry.

13. How are goals scored in Added Time considered?

Additional time is considered in the calculation of minutes for a Goal Rush entry. Consider the following examples.

The first goal is scored on first half at minute 45+4 (i.e. 45 minutes regular half and 4 minutes additional time).

If you prediction was on first half minute 35, the difference is 14 minutes i.e. 49 - 35.
If your prediction was on first-half minute 45+2, the difference is 2 minutes (49 - 47).
If your prediction was on second-half minute 47, the difference is also 2 minutes (47 - 45). Here we consider the goal to have been scored on minute 45.
If your prediction was on second-half minute 90+4, the difference is 49 minutes (94 - 45).

First goal is scored in the second half at minute 90+4 (additional time).

If your prediction was on first-half minute 35, the difference is 59 minutes off i.e. 94 - 35.
If your prediction was on first-half minute 45+2, it uses 45 minutes, so the difference is 49 minutes off (94 - 45).
If your prediction was on second half at minute 47, the difference is 47 minutes off (94 - 47).
If your prediction was on second half at minute 90+4, the difference is 0 (exact match).

14. Where do we get results for when the first goal was scored?

We depend on our official feed providers to determine the timing of the first goal. If this data is unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to verify the timing using sources such as the clubs’, leagues’, or tournaments’ websites or their social media pages, or other credible news outlets.
