1.1 The promotion is open to adults who are eighteen (18) years of age and above.

1.2 Employees of SportPesa, their immediate family members, advertising agencies of SportPesa, and any other parties directly involved in organizing, sponsoring, promoting, or conducting the Promotion are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

1.3 SportPesa has the sole discretion to exclude any person from participating in the promotion without any obligation to furnish any notice and/or reason whatsoever.

The Promotion is open from 11th June to 11th July 2021, both dates inclusive (“the Promotion Period”).

3.1 Customer must register on SportPesa, deposit and place a valid bet.

3.2 By placing a bet, a customer shall have agreed to participate in the draw and to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.3 Each bet shall be treated as a unique entry and shall be admitted into the draw the following day.

4.1 The daily draw shall be conducted at SportPesa offices in Nairobi from 12th June to 12th July 2021. Winners from each draw shall get cash prizes from Kes. 1,000 daily, Kes. 100,000 weekly and Kes. 1,000,000/= at the end of the campaign as the grand prize. See summary of prizes below:

4.3 The draw engine shall be used to select winners under the supervision of the Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB).

4.4 The draw engine shall use unique BetIDs from the last 24 hours to conduct daily draws, last 7 days for weekly draws and 30 days for the grand prize.

4.5 Winners shall be contacted via their mobile number that must be mapped to the BET ID that is selected by the engine.

4.6. All winnings shall be net of taxes due from the Participant.

5.1 Drawing of the winners shall be in the following order:

• 10 daily winners of Kes. 1,000 (From 11^th June to 11^th July)
• 1 weekly winner of Kes. 100,000 (every week for 4 weeks).
• 1 grand prize winner Kes. 1,000,000 on the last draw.

5.2 Each winner is only entitled to win one daily prize regardless of how many times their BET IDs are picked during the draw. The winner of Kes. 1,000 may also win the weekly prize of Kes. 100,000 or the grand prize of Kes. 1,000,000. In the event that during the draw, there are multiple BET ID emanating from the same number, SportPesa shall be entitled to disregard the second and subsequent picks.

5.3 SportPesa shall contact the winners upon conclusion of the draw via phone.

5.4 Prizes shall be sent to the winners through their SportPesa wallet.

5.5 In the event SportPesa choses to deliver and handover the prizes, winners shall be notified to appear for the handover at their own costs. SportPesa reserves the right to determine the mode of dispatching the prizes.

5.6 All prizes shall be subject to verification of the betting ID. Where a person wins a prize and on verification, he is found to have no valid bet ID or the phone number used is not registered in their name, their participation shall be deemed void and they will not be eligible to win any prize.

6.1 By participating in the Promotion, the participant is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any amendments or variations thereto, instructions, directives or circular which SportPesa may issue from time to time.

6.2 SportPesa shall not be liable to any person in the Promotion for any injuries, losses or damages in respect of, in connection with and/or arising out of the Promotion.

6.3 SportPesa shall have the right to video, photograph and/or record the Promotion, and publish any participants’ images and details for the purposes relating to the publicity of the Promotion without having to pay any fee or compensation to the Participants. Provided that the participant’s consent shall be sought and obtained prior to publishing any of his details.

6.4 A Participant shall fully indemnify and hold SportPesa harmless from any and against all losses, damages, costs, liabilities or expenses (including legal fees), whether direct or indirect, which SportPesa incurs in respect of, in connection with and/or arising from the Participant’s breach of these Terms and Conditions.

6.5 In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Terms and Conditions and the contents of any brochure, marketing and/or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

6.6 Any person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.

6.7 In the event of inconsistency or discrepancy between the English version and the Swahili versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

6.8 The Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising out of this Agreement shall be referred to the Betting Control and Licensing Board or any court of competent jurisdiction.
